Auto-Publishing

AutoPublish posts finished, quality-gated articles directly into your CMS — WordPress, Ghost, Shopify, HubSpot, or Notion — on a schedule you set, as draft or live, with the featured image and meta already in place.

What it is

Auto-publishing is the last mile most AI writing tools skip. They generate text and hand you a document; you still have to format it, find an image, write the meta, log into your CMS, and post it. AutoPublish closes that gap: a finished article goes from generation to a live (or draft) post in your CMS with no manual step in between. It connects over each platform's official API — WordPress Application Passwords, the Ghost Admin API, the Shopify Admin API, HubSpot Private Apps, the Notion API — so nothing is installed on your site and you keep full control of categories, author, status, and timing. Publishing is gated: only articles that clear the 14-signal quality check are eligible to post.

Why it matters

No copy-paste, ever

Generation, image, meta, and posting are one pipeline. An approved article appears in your CMS fully formed — body, featured image, meta title and description.

Draft or live, your call

Per connection, choose whether articles publish immediately or land as drafts for a final human look. Many teams start in draft mode and graduate to direct publish.

Scheduled cadence

Set a publishing schedule and AutoPublish drips posts to match it — a steady cadence instead of a sporadic dump, which reads as an active, maintained site.

Gated by quality

Only articles that pass the 14-signal quality gate are eligible to publish. The gate sits in front of the publish step, not after it.

How it works

Auto-publishing runs as the final stage of the content pipeline — once an article is generated and gated, it posts itself.

  1. 1

    Connect your CMS

Connect WordPress (Application Password), Ghost (Admin API key), Shopify (Admin API), HubSpot (Private App), or Notion (API token). Connections use official APIs — nothing is installed on your site.

  2. 2

    Set publishing rules

Per connection, set the default category or section, the author, draft-vs-live mode, and the publishing schedule or cadence.

  3. 3

    Generate and gate

Articles are generated with their featured image and meta, then scored by the 14-signal quality gate. Only passing articles move forward.

  4. 4

    Publish on schedule

Eligible articles post to your CMS at the scheduled time — as a live post or a draft, exactly as you configured.

  5. 5

    Ping search engines

On publish, AutoPublish can fire an IndexNow ping so participating search engines learn about the new URL immediately rather than waiting for a crawl.

What you can do with it

  • Publish directly to WordPress, Ghost, Shopify, HubSpot, and Notion
  • Post as a live article or as a draft for review
  • Set per-connection category/section, author, and status
  • Schedule publishing cadence per site
  • Publish with featured image and meta already attached
  • Gate publishing behind the 14-signal quality check
  • Fire IndexNow pings on publish for faster discovery
  • Run different schedules across multiple connected sites

Frequently asked questions

Which platforms can AutoPublish publish to?

WordPress, Ghost, Shopify, HubSpot, and Notion directly, plus Webflow and others via integrations. Each connection uses the platform's official API, so nothing is installed on your site.

Can I require human review before anything goes live?

Yes. Set a connection to draft mode and articles land in your CMS as drafts, or route them through AutoPublish's review queue first. Direct publishing is opt-in, not the default you're forced into.

Does auto-publishing post low-quality articles?

No. The 14-signal quality gate sits in front of the publish step. An article that scores below threshold is held back — it never reaches your CMS automatically.

Can I schedule when articles publish?

Yes. Each connection has its own schedule, so you can run a steady cadence — for example three posts a week — and AutoPublish drips publishing to match instead of posting everything at once.

Will published posts be picked up by search engines quickly?

AutoPublish can fire an IndexNow ping on publish, which notifies participating search engines of the new URL immediately. The post also enters your sitemap as normal.

When AutoPublish is not the answer

We would rather you know now than sign up and churn. AutoPublish is not the right tool if any of these describe you:

  • You need a few deeply original thought-leadership pieces — that is a job for a specialist writer with real lived experience, not a volume tool.
  • You will not review AI output at all. The 14-signal quality gate is a safety net, not a replacement for editorial judgment.
  • You want to publish thin content fast to game search. The quality gate is built specifically to stop that — you would be fighting your own tool.
  • Your content needs licensed expertise — medical, legal, or financial advice — without a qualified expert reviewing it before publish.
  • You need original news reporting or investigative journalism, which depends on primary sourcing AutoPublish does not do.
